PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin)

Platelet Rich Fibrin, or PRF is comprised of platelets, white blood cells, fibrin, mesenchymal stem cells from your own blood. PRF can have amazing benefits such as improvement in skin texture, increase in collagen, and may boost hyaluronic acid production. This is obtained by performing a quick blood draw in office before your treatment.

FAQ

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PRF VS PRP?

Both PRF and PRP require blood to be taken.

PRP is spun at a higher speed, which causes all of the cells white blood cells and stem cells to collect in the bottom part of the test tube. PRF is spun at a lower speed which allows some of the white blood cells and stem cells to remain within the platelet layer. That results in a higher concentration of platelets and stronger healing factors in PRF than in PRP

HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE RECOMMENDED ?

For faster long lasting results we always recommended a series of 3 -6 treatments for desired area. 3-6 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart.
